Jonathan Miles' article at http://www.foodandwine.com/articles/a-chowhounds-caribbean-cruise caught my attention because of the hook.
"My wife and I: we don't travel so well together..."
Those words made me anticipate a humorous travel experience between the two. Instead, it is more about compromise as they journey aboard the Celebrity Equinox to various Caribbean islands, weaving through his wife's agenda of sampling different wine parings in ritzy restaurants and his agenda of trailing off-the-beaten path through Marigo Bay where they enjoy Ti Punch and smoked pig parts.
The article is descriptive, the words flow easily and the style is very engaging.
Mai, this sounds like a very interesting read. I also thought that the article would be satirical and humorous, but it would still be neat to see what compromises they make during their journey together. Thanks for sharing!
